As part of this year’s programming commemorating of the centennial of Erik Satie’s death, Dr. Campbell Shiflett will present a recital on April 1 featuring works by American composers that pay homage to the French musician: An evening of experimental music to honor the great experimenter Satie.
What do I mean by experimental? Well, have you ever seen someone play the typewriter?
