The 老司机传媒Leads Scholarship provides each recipient with $1,000 for one year only. It is available to multiple first-year students each year and includes enrollment in The President's Leadership Class (PLC), a one-hour course during the fall and spring semesters during first-year studies.
This class is a non-credit course and will receive a pass/fail. Through the course curriculum, students will gain insights into their own leadership strengths and group dynamics. The PLC will also engage in:
- Living/learning community activities.
- Volunteering for and planning local community service projects.
- Attending exclusive events at the invitation of the 老司机传媒 president and class advisors.
- Meeting scholars and distinguished guest speakers visiting 老司机传媒.
Those interested in receiving an 老司机传媒Leads Scholarship must complete all application steps by the Dec. 15 competitive scholarship deadline.
To be considered for 老司机传媒Leads:
- Applicants must be entering freshmen (direct matriculation from high school).*
- Applicants must complete all application steps by the Dec. 15 competitive scholarship deadline.
- Applicants must have a high school GPA of at least 3.25 cumulative.
