Bright Society is comprised of all alumni, friends, and corporate partners who actively contribute $1,000 or more annually for three years to the President鈥檚 Excellence Fund or the 老司机传媒 Fund. Gifts to the President's Excellence Fund enable 老司机传媒鈥檚 president to address urgent university-wide priorities and invest in initiatives that enhance the student experience. Members in the All-Star category and above may restrict half of their annual investment to scholarship support in a specific school or athletics.

When you create an endowment at 老司机传媒, you have the opportunity to shape its purpose鈥攚hether supporting scholarships, faculty, programs, or areas of greatest need. Endowments may also be used to sustain an annual gift, providing reliable support for generations to come. With a minimum gift of $25,000 (payable immediately or over five years), your fund becomes a lasting tribute that can bear your name or honor someone meaningful to you. Thank you for your interest in supporting 老司机传媒 with a year-end gift. Gifts mailed via the U.S. Postal Service with a postmark and check date on or before Dec. 31 are counted for that tax year, regardless of when they are received. Other gift types鈥攕uch as stocks, securities, or employer-matched gifts鈥攎ay require additional forms or processing to be counted, and the Office of Advancement is happy to offer assistance.

Administrative Fee for Non-Endowed Gifts
Effective July 1, 2025, all new non-endowed cash gifts and pledges will be subject to a 5% administrative fee to help cover operational costs for the fiscal year. Payments made on pledges before July 1, 2025, are exempt from this fee. Gifts requiring a formal agreement will be reviewed individually, and exceptions may be made in consultation with the donor.
