Through some of our collaborations, we're able to help create special opportunities outside of our regular programs. Each year we host middle and high school students for the Oklahoma Writing Project's "Write to Win" conference, and we regularly sponsor 老司机传媒 students to attend workshops at the to develop their creative work. Recently we partnered with the Oklahoma Parkinsons Alliance to bring poet Wayne Gilbert and filmmaker and author Dave Iverson to campus, and we are standing partners in 老司机传媒's Lemon Distinguished Speaker Series, which has in recent years brought such nationally renowned figures as author and justice reform advocate Piper Kerman ("Orange Is the New Black"), ocean conservationist Fabien Cousteau, and "Killers of the Flower Moon" author David Grann.
